REVIEW OF RED SATIN SLIP BY RIZZY

THE RED SATIN SLIP
BY RIZZY
PUBLISHED:  August 21st 2009 by Dorrance Publishing Co. Inc. (first published 2009)
DETAILS:  Paperback 32 pages
ISBN:  1434901025 (isbn13: 9781434901026)
I gave this book a 2 of 5 stars.  It was still a poor rating but I gave it a 2 instead of a 1 because it was not written too bad what there was of it.
DESCRIPTION FROM BACK COVER:  After betrayal by a trusted husband, Justin, who sells a picture of her, wearing only a red satin slip, to Playboy magazine, the once happily married Helen Marshall becomes the object of a media frenzy. The widely publicized picture comes to the attention of American millionaire

Dominique Dench, who falls in love with Helen immediately and travels to England to win her heart.

Helen looks to Dominique for protection, but together this couple must endure the constant watch of the media and Justin's efforts to seek revenge and tear them apart, challenges that will test the strength of their newfound love.

MY REVIEW:

This story is just ok. The whole story is pretty much summed up on the back of the book. I was really kind of disappointed in the story because it doesn't go into much detail about the characters. I like to get to know the characters and either fall in love with them or grow to hate them. I like to have a good feel for the story through the authors writing and use of words and did not get that with this story. I feel that the author may be a good writer but I couldn't find anything else about this writer to hold to that. I think the story itself was written well and the storyline was good but should have been proofread as there was several mistakes throughout the 16 pages of the story. The book is said to have 32 pages although 13 of those pages are blank, 1 has the publishers information and 2 have the title and name of author. All in all I do not feel that I could call this book a keeper or be able to recommend it.
